He is a junior and I am a sopre. We met through friends this school year. We started talking almost everyday, and sometimes on facebook. LCD projector turns on for 3 seconds and then dies?

One of my teachers at school dropped his LCD projector. Now when you turn it on it spins its fans, sometimes turns on the light, and acts like it wants to go then dies in about three seconds. He's been an officer for almost 30 years and due to annual deployments shows signs of PTSD. Based on the type of person he was before he joined the military, many of his old friends say he acts odd, like a person they've never met. Another Way To Connect Computer to og TV Other than S-Video?

I am trying to stream Netflix on my TV. I have an old og TV. It only has a coax/cable connection - no other connections. I use an RF modulator to hook up the TV to the DVD/VCR. I have an S-video cable running from the desk top computer to the RF Modulator to the TV. The picture that comes across to the TV, from the computer is way too large for the TV and overlaps greatly at all sides. I am told the Roku box will not work with my TV because I do not have a direct connection on my set, the connection has to run through the modulator. I would prefer to be able to run cables from my computer without a device like Roku. Are there different connections I can use for an og TV, that will offer a better picture on the TV, and that won't overlap? I have RCA connections on the RF modulator, but no RCA connections on my computer. I only have the S-video and the standard monitor connection.

Why do so many GSD have mouth open? Panting?

That's a good question, to which I don't have an answer. I have a GSD and he does sit and pant sometimes. I tend to think that he may be hot in the warm house. I usually turn on an overhead fan and open a window a crack in my bedroom and he goes in there to lay down. I really don't know why else he would be panting as he is healthy and only a year old. My older GSD (who I recently had to put down) also panted alot. Maybe it's just common to the breed.

Every baby is different. My 3 month old eats every 4 hours (4 1/2 ounces). She is in the 34th percentile for her weight. Longest lasting make / Least problematic car in the long run?

Might have to get a new car soon....I am but a VERY poor student and I need to know what used car I can buy that will last me the longest. So far the most agreeable answer I've gotten is Honda Accord, circa 1990. A couple friends have had them with 300k/400k + miles. In second is the Nissan Maxima, also circa 1990. A friend of mine reported that her brother drove it an estimated 700k before it croaked...don't know if true or not, nevertheless still want your best opinion!

Question about my fiancee's mom...?

Transmission slips- is my control module bad?

I have a 1992 Mitsubishi Galant, and the transmission slips when it wants to go into overdrive (4th). I've been driving it with the overdrive on off, and it's been fine. If I'm above 40mph, I can press the on and it will go into 4th and drive perfectly. Some websites have mentioned that some Mitsubishi transmission control units are prone to capacitor leaking- could that be my problem, or is it more likely a bad solenoid, or another internal problem with the transmission? I've been trying to look inside the transmission control unit, but it's not easy to get it from under the dash. Thanks!

Maybe you and your ex could get counseling to see if you could fix the problems in the relationship and heal from the hurt you each put each other through (as no one is innocent). My 8 Month Old?

I have an 8 month old son who has been a pretty good baby up until now. And it seems like he's only doing it when I'm around. When his dad is with him and takes care of him while I'm at work, he is the happiest of babies. When I'm home with him, the only time he's been quiet is when I'm feeding him or when he's asleep. If I'm home with him, he will cry until I pick him up. He won't let me put him in his bouncer, swing, on the floor...anywhere. He just wants me to constantly hold him. I love my son and would do anything to make him happy but there is only so much I can do for him. Even after I've been holding him for awhile, he will start to cry. I don't understand why he's doing this. It sounds like colic but he never had that and he's wayyy past that stage anyways so that's not what it is. If anyone can give me tips or advice for how to deal with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Anyone else out there ever go through this?

Help with my 3 year old daughter's l pain?

At first she was diagnosed with a UTI and treated. After her last checkup to make sure it was gone, it was, but she is still complaining of pain. They have done a sonogram of her kidneys and bladder, which came back negative for any problems. Yet she is still complaining of pain. Sometimes she says her back hurts, but mostly she says "it hurts down there." She had a rash, which we treated with special steriod cream and is now gone. But when I just changed her, after having a bowel movement, I noticed her perineum looked a little swollen and her is as well and a bit red. She is also scheduled for a VCUG, but I'm concerned with the perineal pain she is having. Does anyone have any idea of what could be going on? We are at a loss. Also, her appetite is not great and she is not as active as she once was. This has been going on since the beginning of September. I am getting really worried!

My aunt has been falling a lot...She's around 80 yrs old. This morning she fell down in the bathroom and a couple of days ago she forgot she was cooking something and there was smoke all over the house. Her son is a bit not there in mind, so I am all she has though I am not even a blood relative. We met 6 nyrs ago and have been great friends. I am hesistant to ask her about her affairs...she has 3 houses and I live in one of the houses with her. She keeps saying it's only me and her son she has, but I am the one cooking food for her and checking up on her, her son or her grand son who live 5 doors away hardly care. I am scared that I'll wake up and she won't be here anymore. I am not interested in her stuff, but need to ask her where she keeps important doents should she have to go to hospital or if worse happens. Endometriosis.... help anybody?

ok this is kinda long, but i gotta fill you on everything in order to get a good answer. And last time i asked a question somewhat like this, i gotta bunch of "doctors" answers and they spoke in their lingo and it mad no sense to me. So try and make your answer as simple as possible please. ok i have had ovarian cyst on and off for 3 months now. The amount of pain i was in though led my doctors to believe i might have endometriosis. They thought i had this when i was 16(i am now 22) but the pain wasnt enough to bother me. The case is different now bc the pain does interfer with my life and it sux! I have a laparoscopy scheduled for April 21st. Today at 3:oo in the afternoon i ended up in the hospital bc of the pain, last i heard though i had two cyst on either side of my ovaries. So i asumed the pain was from the cyst. After 8 hours in the ER i found out my cyst are gone. The radioligist said that my endometrial lining was thick and swallen, but of course they couldnt give me any real answers. So i left the ER with out any good advice or reasoning for my pain. Can anyone tell me what thick or swallon endometrial lining means, and does it soumd to you like i have endometriosis. The pain is in my back and pelvic area, and they are extremly sharp but short. hope that wasnt too confusing. I apreciate any input or knowledge.

The dorms at my university each had a common area for reading, watching TV, etc. About 8 girls were sitting on the couch in their dorm's common area watching their favorite soap opera. Three guys came in, changed the channel to football, and sat down to watch it. I was an observer in this case, as I was just ping through. But it seems to me that they were totally out of line to commandeer the TV in a womens dorm - why don't they watch football on the TV in their own dorm? Tattoo Maintenence?

as most of these other answers suggested, you don't want to cover your tattoo unless ABSOLUTELY nessesary. if you have to dress up or something and wear shoes, then it's best to cover it, but you really don't want to wear shoes for atleast a week. if it's off to the side like it sounds like it is, then wearing flip flops shouldn't rub on it. if it's hard, you just want to make sure it's moisturized and clean that way it won't scab. the bandage most likely had ink from the tattoo on it. it's normal for this to happen the first few days of healing, but if it's kept clean, this shouldn't happen for more then a couple of days. you probably didn't ruin your tattoo, yellow, regardless of where you get tattooed, doesn't always stay, depending on your skin type, etc. but especially on the foot. foot tattoos have a tendency to have colour fallout, this is normal. and if it's so close to your toe, especially your pinky toe, then that increases chance of fallout. just keep taking care of it, keep it clean, use the a+d ointment until it starts to flake, usually 3-5 days, then use unscented lotion on it. let it heal completely then wait atleast another 2 weeks after that to get it touched up. reason being, even if a tattoo looks healed on the outside, you don't know what's going on underneath, it might still need a little more time and going back into an unhealed tattoo with a needle is not a good thing. it can still be saved, but if once it's healed it looks like it really needs a touchup, go back to your artist and just try and be more careful with it. not saying you're doing anything wrong with it, you just want to let it breathe, it will heal much better. hope this helps.
