What degrees are needed to become an event planner?

I am trying to choose colleges, which in turn has me questioning what I would like my career to be, and I had it narrowed down to fashion stylist and event planner. To be honest, I have a feeling that being an event planner is much more suited for my personality because I am good with deadlines, work best under stress, and have amazing (if I do say so myself) organizational skills. So if anyone could tell me what degrees would be need or would be beneficial to me becoming an event planner, it would be very much appreciated :)
