WHY do people support Kosovo independence?

I agree it is not the us or anyones right to tell another country they must split up. It"s like Arkansas saying to bush we don"t want to be the united states no more. He would say no . There you have it . they cannot be allowed to seperate it couuld start world problems in other third world countries. we as a super power cannot dictate foreign politics. or set rules.
