Power window problem - Broken switch or broken motor? ?

I have a 1998 Buick Park Avenue and my window will not roll down. This is problematic at ATMs, tolls, and if i ever got pulled over. When I move the switch, nothing happens, no sound... nothing. How can I tell if this is a problem with the switch or the motor?
