What can i use as an alternative to micro-sol?

In a pinch you can use white vinegar. Others have had success using Future floor polish(100% clear acrylic liquid) to lay them down in, but you may not be able to find that, or an equivalent either. You could always make some relief cuts in the decal, or even cut into several pieces. Any gaps could be touched up with paint, try to keep gap at bottom. Hope that helps.
