LCD projector turns on for 3 seconds and then dies?

One of my teachers at school dropped his LCD projector. Now when you turn it on it spins its fans, sometimes turns on the light, and acts like it wants to go then dies in about three seconds. I know a lot about circuits and stuff. As long as the board is in good condition the discreet electrical components should be fine. Iv taken it apart and everything looks fine nothing is even broken other then one of the fans makes a squalling noise since I think its off balance. Resin I’m asking what might be wrong is because he gave it to me and if I can fix it why not use it. Oh yeah its a Sharp PG-A10X if that helps anyone
